While completing Child Protection Certificate, I was inspired to meet students from various graduate schools of Harvard University who are committed to Child Protection work.
The program was facilitated by the Harvard François-Xavier Bagnoud (FXB) Center for Health and Human Rights, Harvard School of Public Health. The certificate program incorporates ongoing child protection research and practice grounded in field-based realities and takes into account the expertise of UNICEF, a university-wide faculty steering committee, and external child protection experts.
Even when progress has been made to protect children from all types of violence, abuse, exploitation and neglect, there is a long way to go to ensure that all children grow up safely and realize their potential.
Participating in the program energized me to make more meaningful contribution in the Child Protection sector.
