I enjoyed the conversation with Professor Leigh Hafrey, which was organized by ClassACT HR73 at St. Botolph Club, Boston. This was followed by a question-and-answer session. The discussion included my work and mission, reflections on my studies at Harvard Kennedy School, women’s status and leadership in South Asia, role of religion and culture while changing social norms, women’s rights in Afghanistan, child rights situation in the USA etc. It was wonderful to interact with members of ClassACT HR73 who attended the event.
My studies at Harvard University have been fully funded by ClassACT HR73 through Benazir Bhutto Leadership Program (BBLP) fellowship. This fellowship is awarded to students with demonstrated interest in, and commitment to, creating positive change through the advancement of principles of democracy, equality for women, reconciliation of religious and cultural differences, or education without gender or religious bias. It has been an honor to be a BBLP fellow. I am grateful to ClassACT HR73 for the fellowship.
